Village of Lawton Master Plan and Streetscape Design

Progressive Companies partnered with the Village of Lawton to develop a comprehensive master plan in 2021, focusing on the community's unique identity and priorities. Through extensive engagement with local stakeholders and residents, five key themes were identified to guide the planning process, with actionable goals outlined for implementation. Additionally, our team facilitated an update of Lawton's Streetscape Plan in anticipation of MDOT's Main Street reconstruction project in 2023. Community input, gathered through surveys and charrettes, informed the design objectives aimed at enhancing Lawton's vibrancy and safety. This collaborative effort reflects Lawton's proactive approach to shaping its future while ensuring alignment with ongoing infrastructure projects and regulatory requirements, including revisions to the Village's Zoning Ordinance under the MEDC's Redevelopment Ready Communities Program.
