Brightmoor Christian Church

In 2017, Progressive Companies helped transform Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi, MI with a $20 million expansion and renovation. The 54,000 square feet of new construction and 24,000 square feet of remodel addressed limitations of the church's communal spaces by expanding the lobby and children's areas. The worship center's seating capacity increased from 800 to 2,100 and features a modern stage and media systems to support the church’s lively programming. The addition of a 60-foot steel cross at the entrance enhanced visibility from the nearby highway. In addition to these expansions, Progressive's design team collaborated with immersive experience company Worlds of Wow to create new youth and children's spaces that promote engagement and play. The project reflects Brightmoor's commitment to transparency, acceptance, and community outreach, and was recognized with a national Solomon Award for Best Church Building Design.
