In 2021, Progressive Companies helped bring a transformative addition to downtown Muskegon, Michigan with the completion of the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center. Commissioned by Parkland Properties for $17,500,000, this 64,000-square-foot center offers a versatile venue for events and meetings, accommodating up to 2,000 people. The center's modern design seamlessly integrates with the city, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Muskegon Lake. Built with versatility in mind, the central meeting space contains movable walls, which provide flexibility for expos, conferences, and personalized events. The convention center marked the beginning of its positive impact on local tourism and economic growth with the hosting of the Muskegon Lakeshore Home, Garden + Boat Show in April 2021.
