WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging

Progressive Companies provided both design leadership and construction management for WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging's new building in Brooklyn, MI, in 2023. The team at WellWise wanted to relocate from their current space, which was no longer meeting their needs and wasn't fully accessible to patrons. This new build provides a welcoming atmosphere to serve the community's aging population, enhanced with accessible features based on principles of Universal Design. The design integrates flexible workspaces, accommodating hybrid work and fostering constructive engagement between both the staff and the community. Additionally, the building includes a new community room and private meeting spaces throughout for client meetings. The overall outcome is increased staff satisfaction, as the new spaces enable comfortable and safe work—underscoring our team's dedication to creating environments that seamlessly blend functionality, accessibility, and a strong sense of community.
