The Grass Lake Ambulatory Surgery Center, a licensed Freestanding Surgical Outpatient Facility (FSOF) serves as the anchor of Henry Ford Allegiance Health’s new 100-acre health campus serving the Jackson, MI area.
Completed in 2020 at a cost of $6.4 million, this 17,700 square-foot facility offers a high-class patient experience with intuitive wayfinding, ample parking, and dedicated entry and discharge points. Patients are welcomed with private registration bays, a quiet waiting area, and a café. The clinical space includes 16 pre/post-operative bays, two licensed operating rooms, and two procedure rooms that can be converted into operating rooms in the future. All building support services are designed for remote management, optimizing long-term cost efficiency. Design focused on operational efficiency for both patients and surgeons, reducing steps from the waiting room to surgery to post-operation recovery areas.
