The J Microunit Apartments

Located in Charlotte, NC’s up-and-coming South End, The Panorama J will be the first microunit apartment building in Charlotte of its kind. Panorama J is designed to accommodate 84 microunits on a tiny 1/3 acre urban infill site (two single family lots), with each 325-350 square-foot unit equipped with a full kitchen and bathroom. The living space will transform into a bedroom at the touch of a button using adaptable furniture from manufacturer ORI. With built-in bike storage on each floor, designated scooter parking, and only a block away from the light rail, those who live at Panorama J will be encouraged to take advantage of the walkability of the area, as well as greener mass transit options. The project will also pursue Fitwel and National Green Building Standard certification.
