Denny knew from the time he was seven that he wanted to be an architect. Now a Senior Design Architect with more than 16 years of experience, his career has spanned multiple project types including retail, multi-family, mixed use, adaptive-reuse, office, interiors, industrial, higher education, and prototype design for national clients. Using an inclusive approach to projects, he focuses on the client's unique project aspirations and develops specific design principles that result in a human-centric project that not only delivers aesthetically, but one that helps meet the client's organizational goals.

Denny's design of the Catawba Indian Nation’s Community Center was recognized in 2022 as an AIA Charlotte Design award recipient for contributing to the health and wellbeing of their aging population, reflection of their rich cultural heritage, and sensitivity to the native environment and sustainable resources.

“From the time I was a child, I have enjoyed making art and building things,” says Denny. “It is through that lens that I approach all of my projects.”
