The Paw Paw Lake Management Project aims to enhance the ecological health of Paw Paw Lake in Berrien County, MI. Hired in June 2023 by the Paw Paw Lake Special Assessment District, Progressive Companies is tasked with organizing decades of existing data and developing a comprehensive management plan for the 922-acre lake and its 9,200-acre watershed. Collaborating with Spicer Group, local township representatives, and the Berrien County Drain Commissioner’s office, the project employs a two-tiered approach focusing on both short-term and long-term strategies. Pending approval at public hearings, a multi-pronged plan will be implemented to benefit both the lake's residents and its ecosystem.
