MetLife's U.S. Retail division headquarters is a shining example of how sustainable design and progressive workplace strategies can be combined to create an inspiring and innovative working environment. Through collaboration and a renewed vision, all employees are integrated on one campus, breaking down barriers and fostering teamwork.  

This LEED Platinum workplace has set a new standard for sustainable design in Charlotte, North Carolina’s corporate real estate market, and it's a testament to how designing buildings tailored to the vision of specific business lines can inspire change across the globe. The build-out is designed to reduce energy and water consumption, exceed performance requirements, and use renewable energy sources, all while minimizing waste. A quarter of all materials and finishes used in the office were manufactured within 500 miles of the project site, and more than 75% of construction waste was diverted from landfills. MetLife's Charlotte headquarters is a true inspiration, demonstrating how businesses can prioritize sustainability while creating an engaging and inspiring working environment.
