As a relationship-based leader, Kim walks alongside colleagues, clients, and partners to bring projects and initiatives to fruition. She is invested in all that she does and genuinely motivated to help others succeed. Additionally, as a practice leader, Kim is instrumental in leading national growth and development for the firm’s workplace practice.  

Kim has nearly 40 years’ experience in architecture and interior design. She has worked in multiple metro areas and, in 2003, her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to be one of the founding partners of Progressive Companies’ Charlotte office.

Actively involved in project work, Kim collaborates with teammates to deliver high-quality design with personalized service. She is a trusted mentor and resource for the firm’s future leaders, helping to guide professional development and personal growth.  

Deeply rooted in the design profession and commercial real estate industry, Kim holds local and national positions in a variety of organizations and nonprofits. She is actively involved in ArtPop Street Gallery, CREW Charlotte, and Envision Charlotte; her past involvement includes CoreNet Carolinas, CREW Network, Junior Achievement, Hornets Nest Girl Scouts, Habitat for Humanity Charlotte, National Association of Women Business Owners, and Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR).

Notable clients include Barings World Headquarters, Charter Communications, Childress Klein, Fifth Third Bank, Innovation Barn, and Spectrum Companies.
