GF Linamar, a key player in the Asheville, NC industrial landscape, sought to revolutionize operations at their expansive 270,845-square-foot location. They partnered with Progressive Companies to design a two-part addition to their existing light metal die-casting and machining foundry, completing Phase 1B in 2019 and Phase 2A in 2020. This two-part addition to the company's facility has significantly boosted manufacturing capacity while simultaneously improving sections of the existing structure. The expansion exemplifies a commitment to sustainability — it achieved LEED Silver Certification from the US Green Building Council.
