Steven Teitsma

Steve has over 20 years of civil engineering experience including project management, design, permitting, construction engineering, and inspection. He is passionate about sustainable design and low impact development, protecting the environment and our community’s most important resources. Steve’s experience includes design for private land development projects as well as municipal design of road systems, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer utilities.

Steve has been an active member of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and the firm’s sustainability green team. He acts as a leader within the civil engineering discipline, mentoring the team and ensuring Progressive Companies delivers high quality projects for our clients.

“I love seeing a project come together from the early conceptual designs through to final construction,” says Steve. “As a civil engineer, it’s fun to be able to play a role in shaping the site and influencing how people will engage with the built environment.”
