Maureen Kozel

Maureen is a leader in the firm and provides oversight for the mechanical engineering discipline, as well as the health and wellness team. She is equally passionate about mentoring and developing staff as she is about serving and collaborating with clients. In fact, she believes they go hand in hand.  

As a valued and trusted strategic partner, Maureen works with clients to fully understand their knowledge-level of engineered systems, helps identify the problem needing to be solved, and establishes long-term performance goals for the lifetime of the building. Mechanical engineering is a critical component in the design approach and often drives engagements.  

With extensive experience and technical expertise in mission critical applications, Maureen specializes in complex healthcare environments and data centers. She provides HVAC consulting from site selection and lease negotiations to design and construction administration. It gives her great joy to solve design challenges that provide patient comfort and improve organizational outcomes for her clients.  

Notable clients include Amway World Headquarters, Corewell Health, Indian Health Services, Sparrow Health, Switch Data Center, and Trinity Health.

Maureen is the second vice president on the Mary Free Bed Guild and trustee of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
