For over 20 years, Matt has designed and led projects of large scale, complexity, and value. He has designed some of the largest and most iconic sports facilities in the world, working for notable clients like the Atlanta Braves, the USTA, Daytona International Speedway, and Michigan State University. His focus has been on guiding project teams toward innovative solutions ranging from large professional sports campuses and facilities to collegiate and community venues. Being responsible from concept to construction has given Matt the experience required to envision the big picture and become a strategic problem solver. Matt knows how to turn daring designs into successful realities.

As Director of Design, Matt upholds the firm’s commitment to design excellence and champions efforts to elevate design voice on a national scale, integrating performance based, inclusive, and sustainable design into projects across practice areas and disciplines. He also leads the development and mentorship of design teams across the organization.

"Architecture has the power to bring people together and change lives,” says Matt. “As Director of Design, I look forward to collaborating with our team of highly talented staff for future-focused design excellence, client engagement, and the stewardship of our core ideology of performance-based design.”

Matt believes in building trust in team members by asking the right questions, sharing knowledge, and supporting their growth processes. His experiences studying, working, and traveling overseas have significantly shaped him as an architect. Furthermore, the life experiences of being a husband and father have been paramount to his personal and professional growth.
