Jeff Roman

Jeff is responsible for leading, growing, and mentoring civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure engineers. He advocates for integrated and collaborative design by building trusted partnerships across disciplines and championing a culture of teamwork.

Over the past 20 years, Jeff has gained valuable experience with most project types including municipal, mixed use, industrial, higher education, workplace, and retail. During client engagements, Jeff asks probing questions and listens carefully to fully understand overarching business drivers and future aspirations. He then collaborates with teammates to design performance-based solutions that can be measured and validated.  

Notable clients include Adventist Health, Duke Energy, Florida Gulf Coast University, KPC Promise Healthcare, Marriott Hotels, North American Properties, Sonic Automotive, Spectrum, and WeWork.

With a passion for giving back to the engineering profession, Jeff is an active champion for STEM outreach. He has impacted thousands of students by speaking in K-12 and college classrooms, hosting job shadows, forming an Engineering Explorers Post, and has previously led the Year of the Engineer Takeover Day at Discovery Place Science in Charlotte, NC.

Jeff has contributed to published articles in PE Magazine and Fortune, and co-presented seminars on Low Impact Development in Florida. He has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 by Building Design + Construction Magazine and Gulf Shore Business Magazine. Additionally, Jeff has been recognized as Engineer of the Year in both North Carolina and Florida.

He is a board member and chair of the Growth and Development Committee for the Morrison YMCA and is also the committee chair and a merit badge counselor for Boy Scout Troop 164.
