David Elya

Dave is a seasoned and trusted senior project manager with over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering in healthcare spaces, industrial spaces, and data centers. He spent the early part of his career designing power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems in the Detroit area and found a passion for low voltage technology, becoming a BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer). Dave is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP). He worked for AT&T for over a decade, managing technology programs, and leading teams that implemented network, voice, and data communications designs and implementations for state contracts with Georgia and California, and projects in several business sectors across the Southeast U.S. He also has experience with federal work, including Homeland Security, Department of Energy, and the FBI.

“I like to approach every encounter as an opportunity to help someone,” says Dave. “Assisting clients to achieve their goals through Performance Based Design, and guiding team members to learn, develop, and gain confidence in their skill sets through collaboration are things that motivate me. Being a continuous learner, I recognize that in helping others I also help myself to be better at what I do.”
